We must all bear in mind that the invisible enemy is still present and spreads among us, President of the Republic Nicos Anastasiades has said, urging people to take measures to contain the spread of the coronavirus.

The government announced on Thursday a series of new measures to limit the spread of the virus that can cause COVID 19 after an increase in positive cases in the recent days.

The President`s post on social media is accompanied by an informative video on COVID 19 in which the President, the Minister of Health and other personalities, such as athletes, journalists and actors, take part.

I understand, he notes, that the measures we take to limit the spread of the coronavirus, have created fatigue in some people and affect our daily lives.

However, he continues, we must all understand that the invisible enemy continues to exist and spreads among us.

He appeals to all citizens to strictly observe the protective health measures and avoid unnecessary gatherings and expresses conviction that ” together we will win this battle”.
